SpaceX was founded in 2002, and it is a company that creates and launches rockets and spacecrafts, with the goal of enabling people to live on other planets.They currently have three different space crafts, each with different purposes, for commercial use. SpaceX launches rockets commercially, and is working with NASA on NASA's Commercial Crew Program.
